From Derby and the South
Take the A6 towards Matlock. Travel through Cromford and Matlock Bath. On entering Matlock, pass the Boathouse Inn on the left and continue under the railway bridge. Continue through the traffic lights until the road bends to the right. Keep left at the bend. You will pass the Royal bank of Scotland on your right. Ellen House is situated about 200 yards up the road on your left. It is the last house on the roadside and the only house with a garage.
